    I love the Ronettes, and as a young teen saw them many times in person. Thanks for the memory Orion.

    Thought I posted this yesterday, don't know why this popped into my mind immediately on seeing the Ronettes.

    "Freight Train" was a coffee bar we used to frequent in the 60's in swinging London.

    When I was really young, My parents were music lovers. They had a marvelous collection of recordings from the 40s and mom had the record player going most of the day as she did chores and such.
    my early years were filled with Glenn Miller Benny Goodman, Arty Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, and the like.
