tracking will only work if everybody signs up for it. I don't see that happening in good ol' 'Merica.
But for it to work you'd have to have an app that everyone has, and those that have the bug would need to be registered on the app, so that anyone who comes in proximity to can be traced and notified that they have been exposed. Then they are added to the exposed list, pending testing. Once tested and verified, they are marked a such.
It could get rather cumbersome fairly quickly. And I don't see the Good ol' Boys signing up for it, at all.
We have six or seven apps already vying for the "honor" of being THE APP, and no central management system has yet to be devised to coordinate them all.
