    Thunderstorms in Ireland

Couldn't find a weather forum so posted here.
Have just heard on the news that there are really bad thunderstorms in Ireland.
Hope Captain Buzzard is OK....there have been some bad lightning strikes...

I think I got off quite lightly today then, I've been watching banks of clouds passing over us, we had some thunder and lightning this morning but no rain, patchy blue sky out there at the moment.

I'ts gone a bit dark here on the south coast (Sussex)....it's been hot and airless so expect a storm. Providing they don't do damage, I love thunderstorms. When I was a child they really scared me, but I have grown to appreciate the wonders of nature as I've got older. I am really in awe of RAINBOWS...such a spectacular sight.
