Im in the beginning stages of designing the deck for spring. Im going to use a water feature and Ive narrowed it down to one of these two.

Vote on which one you like best please.

depending on the look you are going for, they are so different, one is modern, the other natural.

I like both of them, but for a "classy" look would go with #1 definately.

For a pond-ish, rugged look, #2....

Yes, I'm hard to get along with in real life, anal-ize it all!!:p

Nomad. I always like how you ask us for our opinions on things.

I voted for number one mainly because I could see the water coming out clearly. I also figured it would make more of the water noise whereas Number 2 in my experience doesn't show the water movement as well and the sound effects are mure muted.

I wonder since you live in Minnesota and can only use it in the summer what are you going to do with it for the other 11 months of the year??

If the fountains are, say, two feet high then I think the second one is better. If they are table top fountains then the first one is best.

The first looks like it runs on batteries. Not sure how that would work out for you. Batteries have a way of disappearing when there's a woman in the house.
