Been lower to mid 90s this week in Ohio. The high humidity makes it worse.

It was hot and humid earlier. The much needed rain we are getting brought it down to a comfy cozy 71 degrees!

:-6 We have had very cool weather in San Diego in the 60's and overcast more like our usual June gloom, or May gray.

We hit 89º today with the humidity to match. A t-storm moved through around 4pm which dropped the temperature some, but not the humidity. It's suppose to improve Saturday.

Even though the temp is down to 75F/23C, the humidity is 95%.

I had to turn the air back on as it's so humid, and I need to do some projects in my home.

Well, I am in the Akron/Cleveland area the last few day. It was hot but not too humid the first day or so, and today is a gorgeous 85, with mild humidity.

When my wife is in charge of the garden hose, I've learned quickly that it'll be turned on me eventually. :sneaky: :wah: Holding up very well with those hose downs. :p

A sunny 80º with blue skies and a nice breeze today. Not so humid either. :-6

Outlandishly hot with no significant rain in months - if it does not rain within the next two weeks then they will close the canals for lack of water :-(

I don't know exactly where you live Bryn or what happens with your canals.

We have a few canals here, but they are really small, the only thing they are good for is that they are very pretty.

Does this mean no boats will be able to get threw yours?

It seems this year everywhere is overly hot, but not to have water in months like you, that has to be really upsetting to everyone, the environment and farmers.

I'm in the San Jose area now and for the next 8 days and it's beautiful--about 90 in the very hottest part of the day but I've been used to 110+ until last week. . .AND it cools way down at night! Daughter says we'll have to wear jackets when we go to see Smokey Robinson next Friday night at The Winery.

90 would seem cooler than 110+, I wish you and your daughter a fantastic holiday!:guitarist

hard to believe you'll need winter jackets.:-3

The canals are certainly pretty but without water boats cannot move.

We're about two hundred miles from our home moorings and in three weeks time we're due to start bringing her back but it looks like she'll have to stay put until after the next heavy, prolonged rain has refilled the reservoirs.

Hmmm can't see much of that happening at the moment. We've been overcast and threatened with rain for about a week now, the most that happens is light drizzle, not much good to anybody!

Just returned from Malta where it averaged 35 degrees in the shade with high humidity. Very uncomfortable to sleep through. I managed it by drinking copious amounts of beer. It quenches the thirst and makes you drowsy :wah:

Exactly that is happening here now, overcast all day, then out came some blue sky for the first time in days. Within the hour we were covered with huge, low, black, beastly looking clouds, the wind is picking up and I can see the cloud scudding across the bay away from us only to be replaced by paler cloud and the drizzle begins again for a few minutes and then disappears again!

We're trying to rearrange our weekends to go up and rescue the boat the weekend after next.

It's a expensive time of year for @ 4 months - air condition.. just the opposite to one needing heat.

Hate it.. The birds don't even fly, gets any hotter Planes can't fly.

I survived 122 degrees and the air port was closed down that year.

Global warming to the extreme... wah..!!
