that's a really good idea for parents with children in their homes. The internet is getting trickier and trickier to navigate daily. Thank God for our school's filters! Even with the best, though, the kids still manage to find bad sites. For example, the other day a kid asked me if he could look up "The White House" for a history project.....

"The White House' is an internet porn site.

While it is a worry, it is nonetheless important to have a little trust between yourself and your child. If you have a child that will be perusing the world wide web, then perhaps internet viewing should be restricted by either parental supervision or some kind of internet filters. Personally, I don't like the idea of spying on children's activities. It sets a bad precedent in a family when there is no trust.

There must be another way.

Hmmmm..........This certainly smells suspiciously like SPAM to me, albeit covertly dressed-up as a topic of interest for parents.

All of 3 posts revic2005, and all in this thread too. Hmmmm.......perhaps you might like to prove me wrong and tell us a bit about yourself

in the ' Introductory Thread '.

Happy posting BTW!

Hi there, just wanted to say that i am also using Netintelligence at the moment and i reckon it's the best parent software that i've seen so far. My daughter knows it's on her pc so doesn't 'say' or do anything naughty online and i feel much more at ease now with letting her use the internet when i'm not in the room. I know that sites she shouldn't have access to will be blocked. Also i can also only give her access to specific sites that i think she should be able to go to. Sorry if i'm was rambling on a bit but i'd just like to agree with Revic by saying it's a really good, user-friendly product.

Bye for now
