Post by valerie »

Couple of interesting things today, one is a female

jockey (although she is riding a long shot!) who won

$12 million in purses in 2012. Her name is Rosie Naprovnik,

watch for her1

I like Revolutionary so far & I think Calvin Borel is a great jockey, he'll go down in history like Shoemaker.

It should be live for England around 11.30 tonight. A racing pal has set up a stream for me to watch It live.

Seems the English racing world is talking a lot about the female jockey tonight and rate her very highly.

Well I'm glad that if Rosie didn't win, at least Shug McGaughey (trainer)

did. Old guy was a little choked up, and rightfully so, after his first

ever Derby win!

^ not sure on that... maybe. But for a Lexington guy, growing

up and always dreaming of running a horse in it, pretty dang cool!
