Techno Stupid Rides again - HELP!

I bought a Toshiba VCR/DVD video editor and promptly lost the destructions for it. I will download them on-line (80 pages) BUT my Auntie is HOT to get her VCR tapes back and I need to know how to do a quick and simple transfer from VCR tape to DVD - any help?
