I'm sorry to hear that you live so far away just a card to let them know that you love them is better then nothing that's all I can suggested

I should do the same for my Mum who I love dearly but I haven't been able to contact her.

I'm going tubing, then to a picnic, then to sit on the deck of a restaurant by the river to watch the fireworks!

My brother in law is having a pool party and they invited us so we may do that too. :D

I guess I am the BBQ queen this year, lots of goodies for everyone and sit on the porch to watch the fireworks over the bay.
