HARARE - A Zimbabwean man has been jailed for three months for comparing a fellow bar-goer to President Robert Mugabe's anus, his lawyer said on Monday.

The prisons would be full over here wouldn't they ?

Speaking to the wife about this, she tells me when the presidential motorcade is due through town, the police round up people to line the street and cheer. Not complying with the order/request is NOT optional.

I told her that if we were ordered to line the street for the Queen............nobody would, just to make the point.

The very thought of spending the night in a place like Chikarubi gives me the shivers. I heard many shocking stories about that place.

Do you remember when Dubbya George Bush visited England ?

Having had thousands line the streets for Clinton prior, no-one turned up for Bush.

On a walkabout with Tony Blair they visited an English pub where Bush went over to two small boys playing and said ' Hi, I'm the President of the United States' to which one replied ' yeah and ????'

Then we had Obama come over for the G8 summit where nobody lined the streets either... well, there were a few but they were just there to throw rocks at The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Okay, I don't keep up with UK politics but I thought Tony Blair was super intelligent and kind of a shining star until he got sucked into the black hole that's known as GWB. Was he that bad before he threw in with the US?

This was the first time I was proud of George W. His reflexes were great, humor showed on his face, I love how he handled this.
