Battle for the Atlantic

Ellen MacArthur, the British sailor, was 48 hours from making nautical history last night as she hit a ''horrendous storm'' on the final stages of her epic round-the-world journey.

Heading into a northerly Atlantic gale, she was two days and four hours ahead of the deadline she needs to beat to set a new record for circumnavigating the globe single-handed.

good grief Capt., every day/night i go to my job is an adventure! does being a SCUBA diver count?

nope....LOW adventure! about 50 feet down! bubble bubble sharks and trouble!
