I seldom agree with Maddow on anything, but I plan to buy this book.

I don't always agree with her either, but I like her because she gets me to think about why I disagree without also wanting to smack her upside the head... most of the time..lol

Okay, I'm not through the first chapter and I'm pissed...lol

I'm reading the ebook. By jove, Eisenhower was right about the military industrial complex. It is frustrating reading because I can see and remember the process she is describing. It seemed much more subtle at the time, but it is obvious that some thought went into shaping perceptions.

Hopefully it won't be telling you anything you don't already know. You don't need obscure conspiracy theories with shadowy power brokers reality is stranger than anything you can make up. Roosevelt also warned about the military industrial complex.

I'm about half way through. Don't worry about spoilers, since I lived through most of the times she talks about. :-3
