I'm not sure whether the OP's right though. Yes it's a bind if it all gets clagged up and won't shift but is it really "one of the most common digestive complaints in the United States"? We'd need to do a poll to find out.

I'm tempted, I really am.

I'd have thought loose bowels was more common, and distension through taking too many portions at once, and consequent wind, flatulence and quite possibly competitive vomiting. Where does constipation fit in all this? Low down the list, that's what I'm thinking.

Does anyone here keep a diary of this sort of thing?

Only complaint I ever have is heartburn/indigestion.
