THREE teenagers who beat up a schoolboy with brittle bone disease so badly he had to crawl for TWO HOURS to get help were each caged for a year yesterday.
Ashley Glastonbury, 18, and two 17-year-olds, who cannot be named, ignored their victim’s pleas that his bones would break at the slightest touch and he was left fighting for his life.
The yobs had plotted to attack a stranger after drinking.
They set upon French exchange student Erwan Drouet, 16, from behind and stole his wallet.
Erwan had to crawl 150 yards back to his host family’s home with a FRACTURED PELVIS.
A police spokesman said after the case at Bristol Crown Court: “The severity of the sentence demonstrates the seriousness the court placed on this offence.
It was fortunate the victim had some emergency medicine with him, which he took, otherwise the outcome of the incident may have been very different”
After the attack last July at The Downs in Bristol, Erwan’s mother Karine of Annecy, near Lyon, said: “It was a nightmare.”
The yobs admitted robbery.

a mere 12 months locked up for these 3 youths is a diabolical liberty in itself.
they should have got at least 2 to 3 years each on the grounds that
1. the lad was disabled
2 he was a french student therefore a foreign visitor to our shores.
these scumbags will be out in 6 months time what sort of message does this send to foreign echange visitors?
and to quote the policeman who said
It was fortunate the victim had some emergency medicine with him, which he took, otherwise the outcome of the incident may have been very different”
this makes no difference whatsoever.
being disabled he was an easy target for this scum.
had this been heard by a french court they would have got more than 12 months over there.

About that emergency medicine, I took that to mean if he hadn't had some to take, he might have been dead or close to it?
Wastes of sperm and egg, both of them. Beating anyone is bad enough but doing that to someone unfortunate is pretty despicable.
