Wish I could respond but I'm not too sure what progressive jazz is...? I'm a Miles Davis/Chet Baker type of girl. But I can look into those names you mentioned and see if it's something I can get into.

Best Jazz I ever came across was a band called Nahorny - Polish prog jazz from the 70's
