I Shot The Sheriff

I saw Mr. Marley at Madison Square Garden.

Stanley Clarke was the opening act and my reason for being there.

But Marley......

The entire Garden reeked of the herb. My friend Sammy and I decided to find some. We walked the Garden up and down levels. We finally found someone. A man wearing a long white robe. Trim beard and dreads all wrapped up atop his head.

He sold us a spliff for a dollar bill. Biggest joint I ever saw outside of a Cheech and Chong movie!

And it was bliss.
