I loved our old gramaphone really warm and bassy. The valves no doubt. Valves are back in fashion now for those that can afford them

Valves...did you say valves ??? won't need the central heating on then . :D

I'm going to have to listen to Pink Floyd again....did in my younger days. As I'm now at the age when birthdays go backwards, I should revisit some of the great music from the past....what do you reccomend ?

The thing that surprised me was how crazy my daughter (nearly 14) went over "Breakfast In America" & "The Logical Song".

Let's face it, Supertramp aren't very Green Day are they?

No. I tried it but because the music is so diverse, it was a shock to the system when it went from G4 to elvis presley. I've got it sorted by artist, then I know what's coming next.

It's a NANO...as you say thin as a biscuit...

I have always loved music of all kinds....this has reminded me of what I've been missing. I only play Cds occasionally because i never stay in one room for any length of time, and hubby has the TV on during the week....now I can ignore what he's saying because i can't hear him...:D

My daughters talking about connecting her iPod to their comp when she's online ...it's all amazing stuff is the new technology .....I've still got my walkman :o ...LOL'

My son plays his 'full blown' iPod through his HI FI system...it sounds great. He's also got a Bose setup that he plugs it into upstairs.....he has also just had a computerised shower installed...steam, jets, lights, remote control...the works....anyway he plugs his iPod in there too.....mad.
