help find and prevent missing children programs up-date

Post by teramiabullfrog »

if any relative of a missing person happens to check forumgarden's missing children thread, please feel free to contact the Finding Our Children Under Stress (F.O.C.U.S.) Organization for any advice or support help you need in the search for your missing loved one. F.O.C.U.S. was created and developed by families who have a missing loved one. you can e-mail me for contact info. F.O.C.U.S. Organization's mission: "is an organization of families of the missing assisting families of the missing. By means of regional representatives, it's purpose is to act as a resource to families of the missing and also to law enforcement." our objective, "is to compile statistics, increase exposure to the public by working with the media on local and national levels concerning the issues of missing persons and their families, educate public officials and agencies on these issues, enhance communication between the families of the missing and law enforcement and bring positive attention and support to not-for-profit missing person organizations". Since 1992 we've been creating and developing programs that have the most efficient potential for finding and preventing missing children (some of our programs are modeled after fed funded, national programs - developed and managed by the NCMEC, DEPT. OF JUSTICE, U.S. POSTAL SERVICE, and/or CONGRESSIONAL CONGRESS ON MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN). F.O.C.U.S. Organization's programs follow the instuctions and original intent of the national programs; because of this, we've discovered many of the annual fed funded, national, programs are not functioning at the level of efficiency they're intended. F.O.C.U.S. has made numerous attempts to contact all the fed elected politicians and all the fed agencies responsible for managing the national programs, informing them that their programs have a malfunction in their communication of instructions (and have not received any response back from any fed politician or agency); therefore, their programs are only operating at 3/5ths efficiency. families of the missing are being short changed by the government in the search for the missing. one thing that everyone (anyone concerned about the missing persons issues) can do is go to your local post office, if they don't have a public display of missing children notices in the lobby, demand that the local station master or post master maintain a misssing person notice display as instructed in the "USPS/NALC CHILD ALERT PROGRAM". we've been researching this program and found less than one percent of the post offices we've checked have any sort of display, as the CHILD ALERT PROGRAM instructions read (our study includes over 2,000 post offices, in nine different states). if nothing else go to your local post office and report back to me about a missing child notice display in your local post office. we estimate over four million people living in the U.S. are the relative of a missing person (over 100,000 currently reported as missing, average of forty relatives in each family) all we ask is help fixing the national programs so they operate at the intended level of efficiency they are funded for, and instructed. we believe if the programs that are already in place operate as they are intended a great number of the missing person issues will be corrected (there is no doubt the Amber Alert's efficiency would be greatly improved if the CHILD ALERT PROGRAM is managed according to the program's intructions, and the EMERGENCY BROADCAST FAX supplement to the CHILD ALERT PROGRAM is done according to the program's instructions). we're currently working with the Tacoma Amateur Radio Club in getting the nations civilian defense behind our efforts (amateur radio clubs throughout the world are the first line of communication established after a catastrophic disaster), missing persons and their family members fall in the same category as a catastrophic disaster victim, national programs to help find and prevent missing persons need to be fixed to provide aid to these catastrophic disaster victims. everyone, anyone, please get involved, go to your local post office, contact your local elected politicians, demand that these annually funded national programs be fixed so they operate the way they're intended. as the F.O.C.U.S. Organization logo says, "i keep a flame burning in the window of my heart until you return".
