Thanks SY...things have to start looking up soon...they have to. I just need to hang on and work hard at sorting things thru and wait for it to happen.

The damn electronic ignition for the pilot light on my furnace stopped working last night...of course it's just as it's starting to get pretty cold at night. :-5:-5:mad:

Just another terrible game. I can't believe how many guys they left on base in this series. Time to put all the Cub stuff away and focus on my Miami Dolphins!!!

Hopefully it's a cheap fix. Getting it fixed Tuesday but the next couple of nights won't be too cold.

Yesterday Hubby noticed a small leak coming from the furnace/boiler. Today a guy came to look at it and guess what??? The whole thing needs to be replaced and the cost between $6,000 - $9,000! Things do come in 3's as mentioned. My Miniature Pinscher (Louie) had knee surgery recently $1,500 and counting. Now this....can't wait for #3 :-5

Ouch PJ!! Have you checked around for more quotes? Most places give free in home quotes and sometimes it can be fixed but somebody just wants to make an extra buck so they go for the "whole thing" replacement. I think your #1 and #2 should exclude you from a #3...if not, I hope it's just a tiny #3.

The repair guy for my furnace just left and it was some kind of solenoid and it was still under warranty!!! My total bill was only $88.00 for service call and labor. I'm sure he probably gave me a break too...I've known him forever cuz he is a friend of my brothers since around 10yrs old. We all used to hang out in high school too. So my nightmare ended up pretty good.

I'm one in the northwest that does NOT like Nascar (hubby either). I don't get the excitement from watching cars drive in circles for a few hours at a time. The crashes are cool but I can catch those on ESPN...Football is my favorite to watch. Nothing like a Sunday afternoon or Monday night sitting in front of the tv screaming at the refs!! :wah::wah:

Hi Kim, I started this as an opposite to the happy thread and it just keeps going! :wah::wah:

I feel for you about the Lions...my Dolphins only won one game last year, but they've already got 2 this year so I'm happy. I'm sure they won't let me down tho and I'll be here complaining about them. :wah:
