By the way, my own guess on the result of this election is that Obama is going to win, and win big, and they this is going to be a election that will be seen as a huge watershed moment in American politics. At least I hope thats the case, of course I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

I usually run out mid morning because the polls are empty, but there was no parking available today..

It just never ceases to amaze me how the rest of the world views american politics! I have had my ear bent with 'what do you think of obama' and 'who would you vote for' for a year now! LOL! I know who would win if the rest of the world could vote in the american election.

If that woman ever becomes US President I am seriously going to get on a spaceship and leave the planet because its all over if that happens. The really scary thing is that she probably will be one day, The Moose will be Vice President, and Joe The Plumber will be Secretary of State.

On a side note, I've never had to queue even five minutes to vote in England and I've never missed an election. Why on earth are people in the US stuck with hours-long waiting times? Is it really just in the poor areas? If so, does it introduce a systemic bias against Democrats?

The "rich" are defined by the prevalence of the poor.

Which equates to the ever so blatant fact that if there weren't any more "rich", as defined by the context from which makes the word as we know it make sense today, everyone would ultimately be rich as defined by the existence of true equality.

The "rich" of the world would make up for the significant majority to not have to give up a dime. People are just too neurotic to ponder the idea.

Are you suggesting that they make queues just to hamper the vote for Obama biasedly Spot?

Maybe, it's because for the first time, many black folk are turning up to vote when they haven't bothered for the previous white candidates.

They were handing out stickers for a free chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A to all who voted in Beavercreek, Ohio today...

I went before I had eaten dinner but completely forgot to get the sticker...

For the life of me I cannot figure out what benefit such a proposition would entail. If I'm not mistaken you have to have a home address in order to register to vote so I'm baffled...When I left my house at about 6 pm EST even the usually untraveled roads were backed up beyond seeing distance so perhaps they may be on to something. Greedy bastards!!!!!!!!...:wah:...

I was waiting for the small print to say "VOID if you voted for Obama!"...:wah:...

What I'll do is say what swing's been announced as they're announced and eventually they'll all be in and we'll know. The 6% was the only figure the BBC offered when I posted it, it's down to 4% now.

A 4% swing on all states would give Obama: 336, McCain: 202, Democrat Majority: 134

A 2% swing on all states would give Obama: 289, McCain: 249, Democrat Majority: 40
