Being lied to because peeps don't have balls to tell you the truth

Yup, everytime a kid tells me why they don't have their homework!

In real life, I don't know, and don't care. I think with the gradual hardening of my arteries, I don't take it to heart much if I find out someone is gossiping about me. Not much to gossip about, so they really must be telling a whopper, and I doubt anyone would believe it.

Women are the worst for this, they play nice to you, suck up to your, pretend they are your best friend...only to find out they have been lying to you all along in what they have told you.........that's not being a trueblue friend.

Offices are the worst, same thing, but they then take it to a higher level with employees and start nasty gossip and cruel rumours about you.

I had a so called friend who was always nice to me to my face but was bitching and lying about me behind my back.....she got the shock of her life when I fronted her as I am usually very quiet and placid but stab me in the back and the Leo comes out in me I have no time for people like that.

I have a couple SIL's that are just nasty, they make up things about me and the family. I usually let it slide when it's about me, but if it's about my family, watch your back and I'll be in your face about it. I had one SIL spread around to the extended family that I didn't have a back problem cuz I was sitting at the computer so long....wow, did she get an ear full. 1 1/2 yrs later I had a back fusion and a year after that a neck fusion.

Lying is my biggest p*ss me off'er. If someone is lying I call them on it. I HATE lying. Lying behind your back fuzzy is not the game...that's just backstabbing and I've seen it most with women. If you know for fact who says it then confront them...if they lie about it tell them they're full of B*llsh*t!!!

I've had to deal with that crap for a while now on another forum and since I arrived here too from a couple of ladies who don't have the balls to say to me what I'm very aware they're saying to others here behind my back..... I'm like you Fuzzy butt, I got something to say, you can be damn sure I'm gonna say it to the person it's intended for.... no bitchin' from me..... I say it straight up!

What saddens me the most is that I was never anything but a friend and supportive to both these ladies..... I helped both of them out in many ways, yet they lie and say horrid things about me.....

It did upset me quite a lot at first, and one of them actually frightened me because of the lengths she was going to wanting people to share her dislike for me, I was quite freaked out..... honestly, I never realised people could be so hateful toward another just for the sheer hell of it!....

They have no idea about how their lies might be making me feel..... and they really should realise that I'm a real person, with real feelings when they type out the sh*t.... and if they had a conscience.... they'd stop.

I deal with it by telling myself they must have really sad lives, their obsession with me is really quite ridiculous and well..... if these people are focussing on me just now..... they're leaving some other poor bugger alone!....

Online you can get "vibes" about someone and as in the RW you just cant like everyone.If anybody truely can say to themselves that they have never been nasty to people that seem to want nothing better than to slag them off or try to make trouble for them.............well who has the problem........not the accused thats for sure;)

There is no such thing as a well meaning friend that trys to pass on gossip and tell on other friends, IMO. They are trying to score points by making you miserable.



A well meaning friend would have cut off whoever was gossiping and told them to quit talking about a good friend of theirs. It's real simple. I've done it. Shuts them right up and makes them think twice before doing it again, I would imagine...



And no, I don't get a lot of the gossip anymore... go figure..:wah:

I personally speak what's on my mind.

I've been recently finding out that because I speak the truth behind what I think or feel, even if it's completely and utterly harmless, people tend to think I'm upset at them which is hardly the case.

I think being completely honest with people upfront may be the road less traveled in the short run but enables people to have respect for one and another in the long run which is what I base one of my primary virtues around. Truth!

I think the more people have been around dishonest people the more said people tend to not understand the true nature of a person when that person is being completely honest with them. Again, whether the person is appearing upset from simply speaking their mind with no ill intentions meant or whether the person is being sarcastic, or blatantly offensive.

I like people. I have no need to offend anyone. Which means, ultimately, when I get upset I get completely and utterly p*ssed off to the point I could care less if I ever speak to that person again. But it doesn't have to be that way. I just wish people would give me the benefit of the doubt. I deserve that much!<----I'm not yelling at you I'm yelling at them!!!!!!!!...Hehe...:wah:...

That's a very good followup example here. It's been my experience that folks who are the worst at this kind of behavior are absolutely convinced they are a victim only. They really think they are above such behavior.



I think you have no business talking about anyone else here in the garden -on the open boards, in that manner, whether you name them or not... but that's just me and my standards. personally, when I see this kind of cloaked name calling and accusations - I find it boorish, rude and just plain shtstirring, to be honest. IMO, it has no place on the boards where I read.

She then said she would pay for our coffee's and muffins on the way out there.



When I stopped for coffee, she stayed in the car. She gave me her order of a coffee and muffin.

She didn't forget, she had confirmed all plans via email the night before.

And when I went to buy bottled water at the show, she asked if I would buy her one also...I said, no, they are expensive, we can share mine, she then huffed.

When I stopped for coffee, she stayed in the car. She gave me her order of a coffee and muffin.

She didn't forget, she had confirmed all plans via email the night before.

And when I went to buy bottled water at the show, she asked if I would buy her one also.....I said, no, they are expensive, we can share mine, she then huffed.

If you cannot afford something........don't bring it up.

Oh, I agree.

I suppose I'm only asking in relation to the possibility of her being so financially restricted she couldn't afford "coffee and muffins"...

She shouldn't have lied for sure but the only way I'd personally not lose respect for her totally is if she, again, couldn't afford "coffee and muffins"...
