I had a nightmare last night

Post by Sheryl »

I dreamed I was paralyzed and couldn't move my legs. I woke up and thought it was true till I realized my 80lb Wiemeriener was laying on my legs asleep. So I moved to the couch, and slept pretty good till the diva came screaming through the house at around 6:30 this morning, telling us it was snowing. Next time I'm moving to my bathtub with my pillow and blanket, and locking the bathroom door.

How was your sleep?

For some reason, I slept better last night than I have in weeks! Unfortunately, I still don't feel rested.

I don't think I've slept thru the night since having kids. I guess you just get used to getting up in the middle of the night??

but I've had many nights of wandering the house trying to find a dark quiet place to sleep. :wah:

ugh I'm sorry. I've given up on ever getting a good nights sleep. If I take a sleeping pill I toss and turn even worse.

I slept quite well until I dreamt that my husband decided that he would like 2 wives, the second was younger and better looking than me and to top it off he wanted me at the wedding! When I told that I wasn't happy with that arrangement and I was going to leave him he said that I should give it a try and if it didn't work then he'd kick her out - that should make me feel better:-5

I woke up furious!! :wah::rolleyes:

I didn't sleep. Came 11:30-12:00 I was more wide awake and felt better than I usually do after a full nights sleep.

I played on FG, I snacked, I read, and about 3 am finally laid down.

My mind is racing with many thoughs and I am having trouble shutting it down for sleep. My friend told me I should journal to empty my thoughts in the hopes that once it is on paper I can let it go and sleep.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

I had a nightmare last night

Once in a blue moon, one of my feet starts to cramp when I'm sleeping. Last night, both my feet began to cramp about an hour after I got into bed. So I got up, rubbed some salve on them, and walked around the house for awhile til the pain subsided. Then I eased back into bed and finally dozed off.

Writing a journal is a good idea, Kindle. We all have worries that can keep us up at night. Write 'em down and let 'em go. You may need the serenity prayer. We all need the serenity prayer. ;)

Last I night, I dreamed I was go watch a parade. I was getting my place on the curb...........and woke up. :wah:

Here is the Serenity Prayer for those who are not familiar with it. :)

Kindle,

A friend of mine suggested I do that too. Like you, I have trouble sleeping.

It works for me most times ... you should try it ;)
Very nearly perfect ... :D
