Bowl of Ice Water - soak it for a couple minutes and then spray windex on it-- Our jewelry store taught me about the windex!

Leave it a while to calm down as you've been tugging it a lot, then put a bit of washing up liquid (really slippery) on your finger...let it run under the ring, then GENTLY twist and pull the ring off.

If all else fails, get your hubby to get a hack saw to it but you'll have to slide something betwen the ring and your finger or else OUCH...

Thanks for all your wonderful advice. But thankfully it's off. My figure is soar ,a nd I have little cuts, from when hubby had to use a fork to get between my fingure and the ring. well we got off. But just icase this happens to you. DON"T USE A FORK.

Hehehehe I bet we all got good stories about rings not coming off, I lost one to the snippers when I jabbed the barb of barbwire up under my ring and into the fat fleshy part of my little finger. Whoooweeeee it swelled up and we were out in the country so all I could do was wash it with bottled water and wait till we got back into town. Those medical snippers work wonders. Do nothing for the ring mind you.

Get some kite string....

Start from the tip of your finger and wrap the string tightly around your finger touching each ealier turn until you get to the ring. when your close, stop and slide the leading edge of the string under your ring...wait a minute, then unwrap the string from the end you slipped under the ring...as you unwrap the string the ring will move up the string and off your finger!Top Tip Far.
