What method of birth control is better for you. I prefer getting my tubes tide. You know why for one, I got pregnant on the pill , I got pregnant on Depo. (the three month shot) Finally after Amber, and i was on the table(I mean we have toying with the idea for months) for my second c- section,(and this time I really felt it) The doctor asked me and I said give me F papers and I sighned them right there and then.
You know I am not sorry that I did that. although occassionally DH says to wana another baby. I look at him and say if you do Jessica upstairs ask her. NO just kidding. I tell him do you want another vidio game, No. ButI do say something real sacastic. Sometimes I want a baby, then my luv bugs keep up all night. Then I am glad I cannot. I mean there is still a little chance. But seriously I have five kids. I don't need anymore. My body can't take. And I am looking foward until I am 48 when be responsible agaiin. And do things. :wah:

Hay, I am unperdicable. Rightnow I am sneezing brians. Because of the nieghbors fedish with plants. I didn't sex. I am always mindful just incase some young ears are peeking in. Or least I try to be. It's a reasonable question. I mean some women prefer pills, to a cut. My husband didn't want the cut. he was afraid he lose his man hood. But thats ok. Because if I want more kids, he can find somebody. ah ahah just joking.
I am very unpredicable thats what makes me. Kmh

Unfortunately. :wah:
I had my tubes cut and tied when I had my daughter. Two pregnancies and both with complications. I just couldn't go through it again.

Poor Peg, I don't blame you.
I've had my 4 contributions to society, and at my age am not likely to have more!

With my son, they spent 10 days trying to stop my contractions. The contractions finally stopped and then they induced labor.:-5 I had toxemia and my blood pressure went so high they were afraid I'd have a stroke.
With my daughter, they kept doing non-stress tests telling me she was too small.
I was 5' and weighed 113# pregnant. She was 6#13oz. Too small? Did they expect me to give birth to a pony? Anyways, she was breach so I decided while you're in there, cut and tie them tubes.

I had 32 hours of labor with my son. Every time I had a contraction I asked my husband if he was okay.:wah: Delivery was easy. He was early so he was only 3#2oz. and one of the bigger babies in infant ICU.

4 is enough for me, KM.
Besides, my husband is an invalid, procreation is not a concept in his mind.
*thank goodness!*

I'm not sure if the Boy and I should have children, what with my medical problems and his diabetes. I've been on the pill since I was 19 for health reasons, but it turns out I love it. My skin is so much nicer, my mood swings are calmer, and it actually helped me gain about five pounds...and yes, I needed it.
I know a few people who have gotten pregnant on the pill but those were women who could be on it for months and their schedule would never get in synch with the pill...if you're taking it and you're still having periods at random it's probably not working and you're probably ovulating. In my case, I'm predictable to the day...I know it's working for me.
It's not a good option if you're a smoker or have untreated high cholesterol or blood pressure though.

The pill never agreed with me at all, I went up two dress sizes, was grouchy all the time and spotty!
I wanted to be sterilized after my second child, but my husband insisted he be done, something he throws in my face all he can now we've split!! (except he's changed the wording to 'I made him do it!')
Seriously though, twos enough for me right now!! If i actually had someone elses child it would be serious for me, my first child was delivered at 32 weeks, weighing 3lb 4 1/2oz, I had eclampsia and had gone into a fit, very scary. Whenever I spoke to a midwife about it she reassured me that as long as I stayed with the same man the next pregnancies would be fine, and the next one was, text book perfect with natural delivery which was great!!

I had my tubes tied when I was 34. I had lost 4 children through ectopic pregnancies and just could not bear the idea of going through that again. I have my one lovely healthy daughter and I am grateful. And a word of warning to all of you looking forward to menopause......get your mammograms done. The mid 40's to mid 50's is prime time for estrogen induced breast cancer. Been there done that.
