So much for the Orange Revolution.
When will people finally give up on depending on governments for survival and start doing for themselves?

I'm going to follow this but I have a friend in Evaptoria that has recently seen her $475 monthly income essentially cut by 1/3 with the "reforms" put in place, higher taxes on small business. I got another article on this from her that I haven't translated yet.
She also has to pay a tax per meter of sidewalk in front of her business because some politician who spends most of his time in Sochi, the Italian riviera or Kiev bought all of sidewalks in the city. The tax is supposedly for the maintenance of those sidewalks. 3 weeks ago the people who have businesses on that street got together and using an old concrete mixer tar and sand patched all of the holes in that sidewalk.
That's some reform.
What a better world it would be if the welfare recipients we call politicians didn't exist.
