Fall is in the Air

Has anyone seen the first sign of the changing of the seasons?

As I took my constitutional around the neighborhood yesterday, I saw the first leaves changing color. The morning air has begun to get a little colder, and the evening sun is setting earlier. Have you seen any of this yet, even though it is 10 days officially until autumn?

Yes, I have already seen some changes here in east Georgia.

Two of the trees in backyard have changed into bright yellow leaves that have begun shedding.

The days are getting shorter. I notice more in the morning when I leave to go to work...............still dark at 6:30.

Halloween decorations are already showing up in the local stores.

Yep, autumn is almost here.:)

We've got threads about Halloween, winter, Christmas and now autumn. Do you people have NO heart???! No compassion?? I was perfectly content in my blissful state of denial, but NOOOOO, you refuse to leave me to my illusions....why, WHY must you be so cruel???? You hate me....that's it, isn't it? :-3

Come on, BR. Let's start a cyber-beach thread where we can while away the hours drinking maitais and watching tight tanned bodies.

It's a little cooler in the morning but the afternoon makes up for that. Gad, it's hot!!

I am so ready for our two weeks of cold weather I could just spit!

We have summer, summer, SUMMER, and *gasp* did you feel that breeze?

Illinois has had 90 degree days since the beginning of June. I am so ready for 70 degree weather. Sometimes if it wasn't for the humidity I would think I was in Arizona. The leaves are starting to change color and the farmers are harvesting crops all around me. I'm ready for a chilly night and a weiner roast. :yh_pumpkn :yh_ghost
