It does make one wonder indeed. I am currently starting to look deeper into Adult ADD as we may have to have my oldest daughter (age 19) re-tested for ADD. I have just started an interesting book on the topic and said writer claims perhaps ADD is not a result of our environment but a genetic blip from a past family member who may have sustained a head injury. Interesting.... more so this was written in 1995 and her second book was written in 2002 I wonder how different things will be.

Back to your topic, what about allergies too, .... preservatives, additives, pestisides, herbisides.... yep I think we are driving ourselves to our own ruin.

That argument has been going on in Australia for some time now Steev. I'd be more concerned with everyones medications being pissed into all our water supplies. Everything from toxic drugs from Kemo to the pill .

Did anyone here get a small pox injection around the early seventies? My doctor saw my arm one day and was surprised. It's not common apparently?????

I plan to do a lot of walking this week and forgot my sneakers at home. I asked this young man in the gift shop if there was anyplace in town that sold sneakers.

He looked at me like I was crazy. Says he.....sneakers????, I've never seen anyone wear sneakers here." :wah::wah:

I then asked him if all of the long distance walkers and runners wore flip flops when they exercised, and he said "I don't know:confused:"

Ahhhhhhhh......youth is wasted on the young, but he gave me a good laugh:wah:

Thank you Ms Boop. It's been constant coursework from the start which I don't mind. The weeks are flying by. I'm starting to feel a bit out of my depth but I have to push on and keep focused on why I'm doing this.:D

You won't be out of your depth by the time you finish, it will all seem to come together. I often say to my brother that I feel out of my depth and like I am sinking under a whole host of stuff that I just don't understand and reckon I never will! He always reminds me that you are constantly operating at the edge of your knowledge and it's how you are meant to feel. It will all come together. :-6

I'm just tackling my first essay on a novel linking it into place and environment, sounds easy hey, but finding two thousand words that are an in depth analysis backed up with quotes from others is no mean feat. :wah:
