It looks like so many other makes of cars. Gone are the days when you could instantly recognise a car by it's shape. Nowadays, you have to look for the tiny logo on the back or the front of the car! Yes, a few years ago you could tell the difference between a Jaguar, Volvo, Mercedes, Ford, Vauxhall etc. Today they all look like jelly molds! You used to be able to tell the difference between British cars and American cars, instantly. OK, so there are no more Brit. cars, so you can't compare. Sorry, but to me most of the cars look the same. There is no distinctive design any more.
I'm a Saga-lout, growing old disgracefully

Always found Crysler products to be solid, reliable cars. But, the last one I owned was a 70+ Dodge Dart.

Unfortunately or not, Chrysler products have been listed among those cars with the lowest resale value. When I sold cars in the early 90's, we couldn't offer squat on trade-in's for Chrysler products. I've since purchased cars and that has seemed to hold true up until 2007 at least.
Resale value is arguably the single most important factor to consider when purchasing an automobile. Resale value determines how easily you will be able to resell the car if and when you choose or trade-in value when its time to replace it. Even in the case of a lease, which is the craziest thing to do, IMO, the terms of the end of the lease agreement is based on how easily and quickly the dealership will flip the auto, and Chrysler products just don't move as well as most other brands.
I owned a 1978 Chrysler Le Baron at one time. A beautiful car that was totaled by a hit and run driver while parked and I got almost nothing for it from the insurance company because it was a Chrysler.
If you're thinking about purchasing an automobile, do a lot of research. I strongly recommend considering resale value first and foremost.

This is true to a large degree(Some people are car enthusiasts and can distinguish all cars) but I agree I myself don't take the time to notice the finer details. I will say that this is probably so because of wind resistance dynamics. Those older larger cars that had a far greater difference in appearance wasn't at all fuel efficient do to that fact and today's cars all want to have as minimal wind resistance as possible because of the fuel efficiency craze. Don't know why it seems everyone forgets we're supposed to be safe when driving at speeds of 65 mph...
