I just caught the tail end of a doco about Mothman and The collapse of the Silver Bridge.
Do any of our US members know more other than what I can find on Google search?

There's a very good book written by John Keel called "The Mothman Prophesies" that the movie was based upon but other than that, I don't know anything that you couldn't already find on Google.
I'm unable to see a moth to this day without thinking of it. Heaven help me on days when I go into a room and see a large moth flattened against a window. I'm convinced it's Mothman ... in miniature but still Mothman! :-3

Thanks Tabby.... I found the book on the Internet and am going to buy It.
I don't usually go for this kind of thing but what fascinated me In the Doco was the amount of people who take the existence to be very real Indeed and I wanted to know more.

I'm not sure how many people take mothman's existence to be real because outside of my house on the day we watched the movie, I've never heard anyone mention it. I'm sure the people in the area that the events took place are far more familiar with it. I don't know that he exists or existed but I don't know that he didn't either so as with most things I just keep my mind open to possibilities and try not to freak out when I see a moth staring at me. Phenomenon are fun to consider but are best taken with a grain of salt. :yh_wink
