Whistlers?

Post by Accountable »

I think I may have hit on a unique idea ... or at least a rare one. I love to whistle tunes, and I love to sing in choir.

Has anyone ever heard of a whistle choir?

I think such a quirky idea's time has come. Seriously. A group with real talent and cohesion could take a *wherever*'s Got Talent show by storm.

Can you whistle?

Taken to another level it might work.

I have mostly found the only person that enjoys whistling is the whistler.

Showing my age here.....but the UK had a very famous whistler

I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth

My sister's husband whistles.

He whistles a lot.

God he's annoying.

Well sure. Most solo amateurs are annoying. Violinists, trombonists, snare drummers. But a string quartet is heaven. I think the right mix could sound really good. Throw in some entertaining choreography and you could have a hit.

You may be on to something, here.

I can - but people tend to leave the room when I do :-)

No doubt about it. Now imagine how much better if they added harmony!

Sorry, that would sound just as bad if they had been trying to sing. You can't fix tone deaf.

All the birds in animal kingdom have heard that you are trying to muscle in on their act. But they are not worried.

Darwin said "It's not the strongest of the species that survives, or the most inelligent, but the one that adapts to change"
