Ahhhh, thanks! I'll hit him up under that name. It's nice to see familiar names. Place looks great.

Actually, that reminds me - Is the name 'Tyr' from the Nichin (sp?) character in the old Gene Roddenberry's "Andromeda" series by any chance?

I'm not sure actually. I think he told me once and it went right over my head

Ancient?
Tyr/Spot must still be buried under boxes, he's very quiet at the moment.

I always think of 'Spot' as being the pet Dragon (?) in The Munsters, or as Data's pet Cat in Star Trek, TNG.
Thinking about the Star Trek connection, the one I mentioned earlier, Andromeda, in which the character 'Tyr' appears was also a creation of Gene Roddenberry's. Co-Incidence, hmmm...?

You lost me at the pet Dragon stage, Data's cat didn't help.......either you or me should get out more.

I think... the simplest move at this stage...
is to resurrect spot.
Týr was only ever a temporary stopgap import onto the site, he belongs elsewhere.
Besides, it's about time I rejoined the moderator group. Enough of this tomfoolery.

It might take me a day or two to find my avatar though.
Allowing myself to be pushed off my own board two years ago is, in retrospect, a fair indication that I was preoccupied with other matters. It's time I progressed.
I do hope nobody actually liked Týr, he wasn't ever intended to be pleasant, here or elsewhere. The only similarity he bore to spot was an ability to construct grammatical sentences.

Doctor:
What is it she does now? Look how she rubs her hands.
Gentlewoman:
It is an accustom'd action with her, to seem thus
washing her hands. I have known her continue in this a quarter of
an hour.
Lady Macbeth:
Yet here's a spot.
Doctor:
Hark, she speaks. I will set down what comes from her, to
satisfy my remembrance the more strongly.
Lady Macbeth:
Out, damn'd spot! out, I say!—One; two: why, then
'tis time to do't.—Hell is murky.—Fie, my lord, fie, a soldier, and
afeard? What need we fear who knows it, when none can call our
pow'r to accompt?—Yet who would have thought the old man to
have had so much blood in him?
