It's also the case that -- well, yes, so it would, empirically more likely affect African Americans. Also, understanding within political science, that people who register to vote the closer and closer one gets to Election Day tend to be less sophisticated voters, tend to be less educated voters, tend to be voters who are less attuned to public affairs. That also tells me from the literature of political science that there are likely to be people who will end up not registering and not voting. People who correspond to those factors tend to be African Americans, and, therefore, that's another vehicle through which African Americans would be disproportionately affected by this law.

Justice Department Expert Witness: Blacks 'Less Sophisticated Voters'

Who could make such disparaging comments of Black people?

The average white person could never make such a statement without receiving ridicule, condemnation and without the fear of the The Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice.

Meanwhile, USDOJ Search:crt makes site:www.justice.gov/crt such claims.

OK, I ain't calling Obama/Holder, racists, as such.

What I am looking at is them looking as Democratic hacks loosing the losing the Senate have zero problem playing the race card, again.

Considering the calamity of this administration, I hope, pray our and expect our first Woman President will do better.

States differ, but basically once.

You move, change address, just update it.

Tell ya what, I've moved and just went to the polling place of my last address.

I hope for your sake she's not like maggie thatcher. She will ultimately be seen as the PM that started the break up of the united kingdom. 50p says I'm right any takers?

50p? I hope that 'p' stands for Pounds.

Maggie Thatcher took support for Women's Right To Vote back to a time before Emily Pankhurst was even conceived & has totally ruined the prospect of another female PM for many years to come. As the first ever Female PM she had the onus to really make a go of it for future Women to follow in her footsteps. Instead she ruined it for generations to come.

In the same way as Obama has made history for the Blacks in politics, he has the pressure on him even more than anyone else to pave the way for future equal rights - And quite frankly, no matter what anyone else thinks, I reckon he's done a pretty good job, considering.

Personally, I prefer the "Less sophisticated" folks, these days. They tend to be more honest about where they are coming from.

I must admit, I don't know of any Black Classical Composers. No reason why there shouldn't be. Maybe there are some. I just don't know of any offhand.

I can't comment on your complaint of Maggie Thatcher.

I don't know of composers, other than the "Classics" if you will.

anyway

Brought to mind a favorite TV series of the 60's Perry Mason

One day stumbled upon the fact that the composer who composed the very dramatic theme

Fred Steiner was Black.

I think this was typical of the show.

So 'Classical' is sophisticated ?

Here is a list for you.....Here

He doesn't look very black to me.
I expect he would be the judge of his blackness, based on the amount of times it has caused him problems of some kind.
