Bra Incident

Post by Ahso! »

http://news.google.com/news/url?sr=1&ct ... =n&at=dt0A 55-year-old woman politician in the US has died after accidentally shooting herself in the eye while adjusting a handgun in her bra holster. Christina Bond, mother of two, was a local politician and also a pageant champion.I wonder if the family will now try to sue the bra manufacturer.

What's up with bra holsters anyway? Does the lady, when in a confrontation, distract the "bad guy" by beginning to rub her breasts and inconspicuously reach in for the gun?

For me, the operative words are "pageant champion." Tells me all I need to know.

No, the family won't sue. They're Republicans, not liberals.

You're certain then that the bra was not at fault for this incident?

All guns and associated products are designed and manufactured flawlessly?

Why was her gun pointed upwards towards her eye? You would think they would point down while resting in the bra..

Sadly my initial thought was that Christmas Story movie with the little kid.

I read about this where I got the following link.

My understanding is women have a harder time carrying concealed weapons so it is no shock that somebody would look the space between the breasts.

I dunno who manufactured this particular holster. Sounds a lot like this.

Important thing is obey safety rules and read the directions.

What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

Yes, not having a gun is much safer for the thugs and rapists. And I'm sure they all thank you for the support.

But getting back to our previous conversation (the one you ran from); is there any point at which a republican should/would consider suing a company for negligence? Also, you appear to believe that no republican has ever sued anyone. Is that your position? Perhaps any who have were just liberals posing as republicans in order to sabotage that sterling reputation you all enjoy? :wah:

I tend to agree. The bra holster is not something I would advise for my wife.

I don't like the tight plastic shell holds the gun. Looks awkward to remove the firearm. Not something really easy to use when needed.

Isn't there also the other law, which seems to be far more complex than it may initially appear, regarding the carrying of concealed weapons?

Those clamshell holders are actually very useful. I have one attached to an under arm sling for my .380. I am not sure about the Bra set-up, though. That seems to be asking for trouble. My wife agrees. She does not want a gun that close to her vital organs or important body parts.

Just out of curiosity, were you carrying the day we met ?

Do you carry all the time or for special occasions only.

But Lars, do you still own your .380? If so, is it just locked away or used for target practice & is it regularly cleaned?
