Lots of sand. Is it cheaper to fly like that and rent a car than to just pack sandwiches and a Vacuum-Insulated Beverage Bottle (once known as a Thermos), drive East and follow the signposts?
I'm trying to recall where I was reading recently about US lighthouses with mercury basins. It wasn't a book, it was Max Miller. Eating like a Lighthouse Keeper from the 1800s, with a Clam Chowder recipe. You-all had a good time.
If you keep going past "Lands End 3150 miles" another 30 miles you get to the original Truro. The two bits of coast have a lot in common.
