whipped cream

I hope someone can give me some help with this.

Can artificial whipped cream (cool whip or some such) be substituted cup per cup for real whipped cream?

This is not for a topping but for a pie filling. It mixes with other ingredients that will set it.

jesus, i thought from the title this was another sex thread! :wah: ...no, use the REAL whipped cream, it has the required density. that canned shite is nothing but air. and cool whip bears no resemblance to real cream. i think dow chemical makes it. :rolleyes:

Cool Whip is not real whipped cream. No you can't use it as a replacement..!!

Buy the real think in your dairy section at the store.. In container like milk is .
