Hello im new

Hello All

Im a widowed mum to a 3yr old little girl, and i live across the pond in the UK.

My husband died just over a year ago, and i dont really know anybody, so i thought id make some cyberfriends. x

Sorry about your husband, he must have been young if your precious is only 3. Thats hard. Please just jump in and say whatever is on your mind. I think you will find this an easy place to enjoy yourself. If you have any troubles or need help feel free to pm me, no worries.

for your very kind welcome. Im at the moment fighting apathy and trying to get myself motivated into doing the usual things ie cooking etc, but since my husband died, ive become the laziest person in the world. Still, must go on. Will post again soon x

Somebody said "cariad" interesting name well it is welsh for darling which is what my late husband used to call me, so i thought perfect, carry it on. Also there is welsh on my dads side of the family

Ive had soo many people welcome me to this site, im just blown away.

Hi Cariard. I'm new to this forum too but I wanted to say hello. I sympathise with your story having been in the same situation myself. I was widowed in 1996 with my son and daughter and pregnant with a third child. I stayed alone for two years, then dipped my toe in the water and finally met my second husband. We've been together & married for eight years now and I took on his four girls. Now there's just my 3 kids at home and hubby. There is someone out there for all of us, this is what I firmly believe. I draw strength from my husband that has passed on and am a rock to my children and my husband.

Don't ever feel like you're alone because you're not. If you feel like talking please don't hesitate to contact me.
