I bought a benefit concert DVD.

Eric Clapton & friends at the Sugar Bowl.

Heres a list of his guests. Some of the most accomplished guitarists on this planet on one stage for 3 days. It was affordable too only $ 23.00.

If you like blues this one is for you.

Robert Lockwood Jr.

Robert Cray

Jimmie Vaughan

Buddy Guy

Robert Randolph

Hubert Sumlin

BB King

Vince Gill

JJ Cale

Carlos Santana

John Mayer (he surprised me...he lit it up)

David Honeyboy Edwards

Johnny Lang

David Hidalgo

Joe Walsh

ZZ Top

Just on DVD....no CD of the music?

Sounds like it would be good with the artists listed.

Its on DVD, its a concert but its digital and in 5.1

The visual is exciting...seeing the masters at work. Actually Im downloading the music on to cd right now.

If you have a home theatre set up its pretty fantastic. I really wanted to swill some bourbon while I was watching but I cant so............

Ry Cooder on slide guitar.

Robert Randolph is a prodigy on the slide, really amazing.

Clipster I used to live a few blocks from one of the Alabama guys in Tampa. I dont know if thats pertinent to anything though. I dont think it is.

I'll have to put that DVD in my Blockbuster's queue. Sounds like a good concert. I've seen quite a few of those performers live, but I've never seen Robert Jr. Lockwood or Hubert Sumlin. Hubert Sumlin was Howlin' Wolf's guitarist and Robert Jr. is the stepson of Robert Johnson.
