Peter Osgood has died

Post by Uncle Kram »

I heard on the radio today that Peter Osgood, a star of the Chelsea and England football team in the 70's has died. Apparently, he collapsed and died at a funeral.

The England team will be wearing black armbands when they play tonight.

He was one of those players that even as an Aston Villa supporter, I could appreciate.

Arnold is a Chelsea supporter so will remember Ossie gracing the field very well

I'm sitting here watching England as I write this.

Chelsea supporter here as well. 59 is no age to die and his poor wife had to go home and tell their 16 year old son.

I'm watching England too clancy. 1 nil down....bit of a shocker if they lose....DBs just gone off...mmm
