One Nation Indivisable

Post by Lon »

That's the way the American Pledge Of Allegiance was up until 1954 when then Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower approved the change to "One Nation Under God". Frankly, I like the old Pledge better and it has nothing to do with my religious thinking. Considering the divisiveness of the Nation during the American Civil War and even now with the Nation divided over Irag and Iran and the Immigration connundrum it would be nice to see this country United and Indivisible like it was during WW 2.

That's the way it was and that' the way it should have stayed and that's the way it should be. "One Nation, indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All". I hear you Lon:)
