Well it wasn't pretty in the first half for the US they looked flat period. That tree that plays for the Checz is out of the game now I think... No it will never be easy for US mens team on Europeon soil and they must get a win somehow. Now the US women are awesome on Europeon soil.

It was ugly from the first minute of the game the US looked lazy and had no energy for what they needed to do.. I feel embarassed for them.. Hell the US womens team would have played a better game than the men did today no excuse for the way they played just awful. :-5

I dont think playing on european soil has anything to do with it, other than coincidence. The U.S team has alot more to worry about than the "type" of soil they play on.
The game was very physical, and the quick score destroyed there confidence. Being a team with not such great success, can be emotionally drained after getting scored on very quickly. It triggers flashbacks, and diminishes all of their confidence they build in the off season. Despite this, I think if Reyna would have equalized the game, when he hit the post, that the U.S would have been rejuvenated. While I wont go as far to say that we would have won, I do think it would have made a difference. But its all over now, and the only thing we can hope for is to beat Italy, and try and take something as huge as that along to the next game, and play Ghana with a realistic goal of making it out of the stage.
Yes and No I believe they are mentally unable to get a win on Europeon soil in their minds. I think they can do it but they have to play a hell of alot better than they did today. They missed a ton of chances to score just couldn't push it through.. They were lack luster the entire game.. (I'm watching it again tonight gluten for punishment.)
