The Simple Life, or How to Make a Person Cringe

Has anyone watched the Simple Life on E! this year? As ever, it's got biting commentary from Nicole, somewhat bland yet inexplicably interesting dialogue from Paris (who knew she was so quiet? It's got to be a trick, right?), and the usual hijinks. The difference seems to be that Paris and Nicole are separated (not friends now, I guess), so they don't do their tasks together. Somehow in this light, Nicole comes across as a bit of a meanie and Paris as a bit of a sweetie.

Don't know what to think. I guess the fact that I watched the first two episodes on an otherwise busy-with-work Sunday night says something :rolleyes:

why those poor girls the horror and degredation thay must be facing l mean they might actually break a sweat or a nail...aaaaaahhh the horror..

and having to mix with the 'little people' the shame!!

lm mean not that l dont like them, its not like lm saying that they make me feel physically sick and want to vomit over their false lovieness..air kiss darrrrrrling

:wah: I love the responses. I agree - but I suppose the entertainment factor wins in a situation where you have two filthy rich, attractive young women living the "simple" (read: normal) life! I've caught a couple of episodes this season and just wonder what makes them tick. I couldn't say half the things that come out Nicole's mouth!
