Help me paste!

JAB, To use an icon from smileycentra you have to right click on the icon, the copy and paste it in to the post COPY SMILE HTML. Then the hard part comes in. You have to put at the end..:-3 Now to complete it so it shows up you have to do this.. EXAMPLE BELOW OF A BEFORE AND THEN THE AFTER OF HOW THE TEXT SHOULD LOOK.. IN ORDER FOR IT TO SHOW I HAVE TO MAKE A MISTAKE SO I WILL PUT [/IMG] ON THE FRONT WHICH IS WRONG IT SHOULD BE STEP ONE.

STEP TWO. THE BOLDED AREAS NEED TO BE DELETED..

I hope this makes sense.. once you do it and see how it shows up you will have to this everytime you copy one into a post..

SCT, It worked for me.

do you have all your setting at FG turned on correctly?? we will figure this out.

JAB, Smiley Central in the only site I know of that you have to go to this means to get one to show up. The rest of the sites are simple you just put and the front, and " alt="" /> on the back.

I think you have it.. everytime you copy an html picture you have to put the on the back..

Does it also work for "stolen" gifs? I found a set I really like and want to use them but not sure how to make it work. I tried what has already been said on here but it didn't work so I deleted my post.

THE RED ONE,

You can up load gif, jpg into your post and they will show.

If you want to use them as Avatar you can upload it through your user settings.

If you want them as part of your signature you have to have a link to the site they came from before it will work or you need to load them to a storage space if you have one on the internet. To be in your signature they require a

http:// www.whatever.gif then you put the on the back.

Hope that makes sense

TRO,

You have to either up load through the attachment "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" at the bottom of your post.

or you have to have the actual link to the site then open and close it with the image tags.

TRO, click on the wave it will open up in a new page and they will be waving. So that tells me uploading it as an attachment to FG somehow doesn't work. Can you go back to the actual site and copy and paste the HTML here and then put the image Tags on... THEY WAVE FINE JUST HAVE TO CLICK ON THEM..

example: [/img]http://www.wave.com[/img] did this wrong so it would show no backward slash on the front. copy and paste into your post.

I've been so out of the loop I can't remember half the things I did know. This is the second forum I have found recently that I really like. It's soooooo addictive. The hubby complains when I get on here and then I remind him he's on here more than me......some men are just *****.

Well, it'll get worse I can assure you. This forum offers an amazing mix of humour, support and friendship and you'll find you just can't stay away!!

Oh, and I just yell "help" when I can't do something vaguely technical and others just guide me through, slowly and patiently. In other words, whatever the opposite of technical is, I'm it :wah:

Hey, I know the answer to that one...hopefully...go to say, General Chit Chat or whatever your subject matter is, and you will see "New Thread" in the left hand corner, near the top.

Did I mention that I'm not too good at giving instructions either? :wah:
