Ah...I thought it was "MRS. BROWN, you've got a lovely daughter."
My candle's burning at both ends, it will not last the night. But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--It gives a lovely light!--Edna St. Vincent Millay

So true my dear.

Cruising on the boulevard, with Proco and Santana, in the low riders on the east side. Hot music on the west side. I settled on the east side.;)

Hotel California..........The Eagles

I loved the music of the 70's and 80's........LOL. I still listen to it even now. On one of the location radio stations here they have a Friday night 80's and then a 70's Saturday night! :yh_dance

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

I'd rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special.

I was just thinking of great old song, "any major dude" by Steely Dan, a classic.
"We are never so happy, never so unhappy, as we imagine"

Le Rochefoucauld.

"A smack in the face settles all arguments, then you can move on kid."

My dad 1986.

Those guys are an enigma. They have the musician-man-ship-ness:thinking: the talent, the laid back energy, great vocals..............but what have they done for me lately ?

I keep buying their albums hoping. Im still hoping.

The Eagles? I was just listening to them the other day on cd.

I see that Meat Loaf is due to release his third album in the 'Bat out of Hell' series.

I am so looking forward to that. The orginal Bat out of Hell was with me in my early childhood due to my big sisters playing it all the time.
