The last time I went swimming in the sea off the East coast I couldn't believe how cold it was. My whole body was numbed by the cold. At regular intervals, I kept pinching myself to assess the degree of numbing. In certain..ahem...parts, I could feel nothing :o . Well sore the next day I don't mind telling you
