Anyone famous from your home town??
Just figured we could do some name dropping here. Are there any famous people (past or present) from your home town. And have you had the opportunity to meet any of them?
Here is my list:
Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Teddy Geiger (a new young singer..your teen may have heard of him)
Chuck Mangione ....met him when we were both on the same flight out of Rochester.
Susan B Anthony
George Eastman (the Kodak guy). Went out on a date once with a distant reletive of his.
Taye Diggs (the actor)
Lou Grahamm. Musician
I know there are others, just cannot remember names. One was an older African American actor whose name escapes me. He was in one of the versions of the movie Show Boat. He sang Old man River. I will look up his name and post it.

How about "infamous" instead?
Can't recall names but a guy in my neighborhood was hiding out here. He had been featured on "America's Most Wanted."
In the 70's, two little boys were locked up in an abandoned miner's shed and it was set on fire. It was on Unsolved Mysteries. They still don't know who did it.
