I didn't discover Bowie until "Life On Mars" blew me away. I remember watching "Drive-In saturday" on Top of the Pops at my local Youth Club the year after.

I was born at the right time to be a teenager in the Glam era and experience it as it unfolded. For "Life On Mars" alone, it has to be "Hunky Dory"

Oh, I was too old for that-I always thought disco was pretty dorky. And platform shoes.....................
I hope you all love me anyway.
Polyester stinks-it did then ,and it does today. I won't wear it.
And I honestly have only barely heard of one of those group. The Beatles rule!
Take me away, Sgt. Pepper.......................
Now come on, you know this is me, look at my pic. I was born in the 50s, a child of the 60s. Forget the rest of time, I stayed where I was happy.
To this day, I refuse to conform to what is considered normal or stylish among 50 year old women. I don't wanna look like that, and I won't.
:)

When i was young i had a very deep experience, it gave me a message, it told me that the word VIDEO was coming into our reality and it told me of it's meaning, i was told the meaning was ROCKET MAN or STARMAN and his name was DEVIO
i was told that this name represents US all, i was told that the thunder was an invisible Dragon flying over the sky looking out for us, it was made clear to me that the dragon and thunder were important symbols I was only three years old...
I love bowie, he is a true artist, but I am wondering whether your message was in some way connected to your earlier enquires, don't worry I ain't saying nothin. :wah:
