Sweetie.........go spend time with friends. There is no guilt in that. Over is over even in a long term relationship. Don't stay home and worry about his feelings. There must have been reason for the break-up.

How to heal a broken heart

I wish someone could've told me a few years back. I live alone now by choice, because I don't want to ever feel so vulnerable again......I've done all the things the others have said, and they work, up to a point. Only time takes the edge off the feelings, I looked for a short cut, couldn't find one.

ACK!! Don't let him stop you from moving forward with your life. Move on and be the best person you can be.

Girlfriends are a God-send at times like this. You go out, and enjoy. Hugging!

hmmm...so he's failed at marriage twice - now there's a clue!

and if he hurts...you feel guilty and don't go out! Darlin' he has you twisted round his little finger! You're 20 years younger - still plenty young enough to have LOTS of fun in your life! He's stuck in his ways and wants you stuck in them too! He doesn't want you any more - but he doesn't want anyone else to have you either! A classic example of a control freak! You get your butt out there hunny and have fun with ALL your mates - girls AND guys! And when he pulls that sad little 'I'm hurt' face just giggle, shrug and dance away - even if it hurts like hell! He's used and abused your love - it's time to show him that whats good for the goose is good for the gander! And have fun! ;)

I am feeling better this evening really, thanks guys, normally I can do great, however, my best friend died and thats hard.

The reason for the split up are ya ready!!!!! and I quote" You and Travis no longer fit the fantasy of my life" We were sitting at the picnic table to set the date his brother was in from New York. No clue what so ever this was to happen. Said and I quote again "I need to find myself and what I want from life" "I need to explore and dont want to be responsible for anyone but myself" He laughed when I cried.

There's nothing like getting on top of someone for a while, in order to get over someone else. Know what I mean.
