COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 16-year-old disabled girl was punched and forced to engage in videotaped sexual acts with several boys in a high school auditorium as dozens of students watched, according to witnesses.

Authorities are investigating and no charges have been filed in the alleged attack last month at Mifflin High School. Four boys suspected of involvement were sent home and have not returned to class.

Also, the principal, Regina Crenshaw, was suspended and will be fired for not calling police, school officials said. And three assistant principals were suspended and will be reassigned to other schools.

Crenshaw had no comment Tuesday.

The girl was forced to perform oral sex on at least two boys, according to statements from school officials, obtained by The Columbus Dispatch.

Part of the alleged assault was videotaped by a student who had a camera for a school project.

School officials found the girl bleeding from the mouth. :-2 An assistant principal cautioned the girl's father against calling 911 to avoid media attention, the statements said. The girl's father called police.

Her father said the girl is developmentally disabled. A special education teacher said the teen has a severe speech impediment.

I would be facing prison time if that were my child. How do kids get so screwed up?

A little girl in a town near here, went home and asked her mother what oral sex was. When the mother asked her why, she said the boys on the school bus were trying to get her and other little girls to perform it. Christ! I can't fathom that happening here. Gives me shivers.

I sure hope dad punched this ignorant POS in the mouth before he called the cops. "Avoid media attention"????? I'd blow the whole f-ing school wide open. And not through the media, either.

I think that calling the students that did this human beings is a stretch.. perhaps subhuman animals is a for fitting description.. and that includes the a$$hole assistant prinicapal.. he would be at the top of the list...to meet a good friend of mine.. Mr. Winchester...

Just sad. Kids today have lost the ability to feel for others. Mind you I know all kids aren't like this.. How could this happen in a school auditorium. We were so damn supervised in school we couldn't blink wrong without getting caught.

How dare the principal tell her father not to call 911. He should be the first one taken in for not reporting a crime, and allow it to happen.

Animals treat each other better than human's are treating each other lately.. :-5

If that was my child i would be facing a very serious jail sentance how can anyone do that it makes me sick. I get very upset over this kind of stuff. :-5

No wonder kids, and some adults, including myself, have little to no respect for some school officials. The principal should be charged with obstruction of justice.

I'm not quite sure that kids have lost empathy. Children have always brutalized children to one degree or another- not speaking of all kids, just some. I have always known of bullies and those who would ridicule or mock. I also know of gang rape situations where there may be a few participants and several who look on, either enjoying it, or too scared to speak out.

It is right that the adults were dismissed, but I may have read it wrong, but no one was yet charged? There seems to be proof on the camera. I find it suspect that no charges were filed. I feel as if the adults in charge have failed this girl.
