yeah you had more money than monopoly, but everything cost more, and you had kids, and they were expensive buggers, and then you got old, and that was sad, I can't remember if you get a funeral at the end????

I LOVE Monopoly. I'm always the little dog.
I also like Trivial Pursuit, Cranium, Guesstures and Left, Right, Center.

Hey, those two are the first properties I buy! They come in pretty handy when your in a jam.

The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

Oh pictionary was good as well, when you were drunk, and when I was a teenager we had Dungeons and Dragons or something like it, and other different fantasy games in school, but they weren't really board games, see, we didn't have proper computers then, only commodore 64s (which we did think were amazing and way out of my league of pocket money). So we had to invent our own nerdy games.

Our newest funnest (if that's a word) game is not just a board game, it involves a dvd also, called "scene it", we have a regular edition as well as Disney edition, for the kids:sneaky: Of course, when the kids aren't around, us adults are playing too!!
Its fun!!

I used to play Dungeons and Dragons as a teen too!
I love Cribbage and Backgammon & used to belong to an online cribbage site - brilliant fun.
Monopoly is great for teaching the kids about money, working out change and fines, etc.
We also play Uno, Gin Rummy & Go Fish!
The kids had hungry hippos when they were smaller - its very noisy! I'm pretty sure it's also in the Arcade if you want to play it again!
Liked Connect 4 & Battleships - which are also in the Arcade. Ditto Mahjong.
I also used to like Trivial Persuit but havent played it in ages - I guess thats why I play the daily quiz!
