Galbally, I had just started a novel by Reggie Nadelson - Red Mercury - about the assassination of an ex KGB star when all this happened. Freaky!! Good writer.

Yes we are in spy thriller terriorty now, a murdered ex-KGB colonel, polonium 210, a certain sushi restuarant in picadilly and various "locations" being tested, a poisoned Italian academic who is somehow involved called Scaramella, (even the names are "bond"ish), the ex prime minister of Russia in a private clinic in Dublin last week claiming he was posioned, russian olgarhigarhs wanting protection from the KGB, evacuated hotels in Surry and planes in Heathrow, the Kremlin saying nowt, the British looking angry and confused by it all, you couldn't make it up.
Oh no wait you could, you could call is "Acts Of Vengence" and sell it as a book, if I was a thriller writer I would call myself Josiah Threadneedle for my pen name, what do you think?
